The 2018 AIPC Annual Conference, held in early July in London, together with its component General Assembly, generated a series of decisions and announcements from the global association.
- The Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur was selected as the site of the 2020 AIPC Annual Conference. The choice represents an Asian rotation and demonstrates the global coverage of AIPC while offering insights into a rapidly growing area of the industry.
- The Valencia Conference Centre in Spain was declared winner of the 2018 AIPC Apex Award. The selection was made as a result of an analysis of client surveys from 17 finalist centres made by the international market research firm Ipsos. http://www.c-mw.net/aipc-celebrates-apex-award-london-garden-party/ The AIPC Board also recognised two runners-up in this year’s award; the Kongresskultur Bregenz GmbH, Austria and the Palais des Congrès de Montréal in Canada.
