CBItalia launches lead generation service and announces new members

The Italian national convention bureau CBItalia has signed a new strategic agreement with lead generation agency Gaining Edge.

The agreement is geared to guaranteeing the generation of customised leads dedicated to each destination associated with the CBItalia network.

Since January 2018 six new members have joined the bureau’s national network, bringing the total membership to 116 affiliations.

CBItalia says the agreement includes a two-day training seminar, to be held 30-31 August.

The national convention bureau network now embraces 2,000 companies in Italy and Carlotta Ferrari (pictured), CBItalia president, welcomed the new agreement with Gaining Edge and said it would “enhance the international role of Italian destinations in the congress sector”.

It was a sector, she added, that was now “one of the keys of the country’s tourism economy”.

Meanwhile, 50 buyers are due to arrive from Europe in Bologna, 1-3 November 2018, for the Italy at Hand MICE event.
