A 2018 etouches survey of over 150 event professionals found:

• The biggest challenge that planners want their tech to solve onsite is streamlining registration and check-in (53%) and improving communication with attendees (52%);

• There are 48% of event planners that said increasing the number of attendees is the biggest challenge that they would like their pre-event tech to solve, with keeping event costs down in close second at 43%;

• Still post-event the greatest challenge that planners want their tech to solve is measuring their events ROI (63%), and provide data-driven insights to improve future meetings (52%).
