International MICE industry expert Harry Fine, former agency professional and hotelier Richard Fine, and award-winning DMC owner from Turkey Birgül Özden and digital marketing and CRM specialist Eda Özden have come together to create a new sales and marketing hub, MEP.
The new venture is to offer tools, strategies and projects designed to help companies maximise their potential in the business travel and MICE industries.
Harry Fine (pictured) says the team will focus on building a solid understanding of a destination’s position in the marketplace, and on targeted sales approaches and digital marketing set ups that “will not break the bank yet help companies differentiate themselves in what is a highly competitive environment”.
The team will offer training and consultancy services for DMOs, tourist offices, convention bureaux, hotels, venues, convention centres and DMCs. These will cover topics such as operational review and training, marketing and selling, ensuring the product and service is fit for purpose in the international market and delivery to the standard that clients in sophisticated source markets would seek and expect.
“Together, we hope to help companies become better-equipped to handle the changed nature of MICE with innovative solutions,” Fine added.
