UAE - The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) is set to hold the inaugural World Ports and Trade Summit in 2011, one or the organisers, the Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC), has announced.

The Abu Dhabi Terminals, the Arab Sea Ports Federation and Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority have partnered with the ADPC to organise the three-day event, designed to address international issues facing the ports and shipping industries.

“The World Ports and Trade Summit will deliver a vital exchange of knowledge, as the ports and shipping industries look to evolve development strategies in line with economic management and recovery,” says CEO of ADPC, Tony Douglas.

The three-day event is due at ADNEC from 28 to 30 March 2010.
