AUSTRALIA - Keith Herdman has been appointed the Acting CEO of the Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau (MCVB) following the departure of Sandra Chipchase.

The MCVB’s Chairman Chris Barlow made the announcement, adding: “The Board has every confidence in Keith’s ability to keep MCVB firmly focussed on the business at hand while the recruitment process is underway.”

Herdman has been part of MCVB’s Senior Management team since August 2006.

Chipchase announced her departure earlier this month and has joined New South Wales’ Government's new tourism body, Destination NSW.

Jo Fisher Executive Search (JFE) has been appointed to undertake the executive search process for the next CEO. Potential candidates are encouraged to contact Senior Consultant, Linda Dewar at lindadewar@jofisher.com.au
