UBM TEAMS UP WITH IMP EVENTS ON GLOBAL SECURITY SUMMIT
posted on: 1/3/2012 09:41:02
Corp Security RESIZED

EUROPE - UBM has teamed up with IMP Events to launch a new security event for the senior end-user community.

The Global Security Summit is the result of a strategic partnership between UBM, the organiser of IFSEC International and FIREX International events, and Pro-Activ Publications, the publisher of Risk UK.

The aim is to provide one consolidated opportunity for security, fire and safety companies to present their technologies, services and solutions directly to senior security end-users and those responsible for managing the security of their organisation, such as facilities, estate and building managers.

The event takes place in London on 10-11 October 2012 at the newly refurbished Olympia Conference Centre and will co-locate alongside UBM’s built environment exhibitions.

“As organisers of the IFSEC Global Security Events in the UK, India, Africa and Saudi Arabia, we believe our industry partnerships and commitment to serving the security market, best places UBM to bring this new event to London,” said event director for UBM’s security portfolio, Charlie Cracknell.

“We’re glad that IMP Events will be assisting us in the transition to a single London Event for 2012. Our research has emphatically told us that London needs and wants an end-user focused event, that brings together solutions and education underpinned by a new one-to-one meeting format.” he added.

UBM has also announced a string of trade show acquisitions including three Asia-based events and a peripatetic airport cities expo in the US.
