ASIA - The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has promoted Mam Puangthip Chotipantawanon to Director of Operations, effective 1 August 2012.

Mam will be responsible for operations across departments providing an association-wide support structure to  engage with members, and deliver all PATA products, services and events in a "timely and profitable manner".

Mam joined PATA in 2003 and has  been responsible for supporting PATA Events. Prior to PATA, she was Senior Manager of events management and developments at the Bangkok-based Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, and Senior Manager at MICE Marketing for Siam Express.

"Mam has been contributing to the success of PATA events for almost the last 10 years," says PATA CEO, Martin J Craigs. "This appointment will unify PATA Next Gen around the globe, improving coordination and engagement among all PATA members".

PATA is a not-for profit membership association that acts as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism within the Asia Pacific region.
