INFO SALONS GROUP PARTNERS WITH LINKEDIN CO-FOUNDER AND CEO OF PRESDO

AUSTRALASIA - Event software and registration company Info Salons Group has partnered with event networking platform Presdo to create what it claims is the final link between social media and face-to-face events.
 
The alliance between Presdo CEO Eric Ly, a Co-Founder of professional networking website LinkedIn, and Info Salons Group CEO Jo-Anne Kelleway, creates a partnership for the Australasia, Greater China and Middle East regions.
 
“Social media is a perfect fit for face-to-face events,” said Ly. “We now see the industry being very interested in adopting social media approaches to increase engagement around events. With Presdo Match, we are bringing a compelling platform to connect exhibitors and attendees while delivering even greater value to event organisers.”
 
“Info Salons Group is an excellent partner who brings a solid industry reputation, a strong management team, and a large portfolio of events throughout the Asia Pacific, China and Middle East marketplace.”
 
The partnership sees Info Salons integrate its registration and database applications with the Presdo Match event networking platform to deliver an interactive social media solution that the companies claim will increase communication and interactions among attendees, exhibitors and organisers at events, while measuring, analysing and reporting on those interactions.
 
The product is currently deployed at the US trade shows InfoComm, Solar Power International and Windpower, as well as “hundreds” of conferences.
 
The software gives event attendees online access to profile directories combined with streamlined communication capabilities, enabling them to plan their time and activities in what the companies refer to as a “complete solution suite”.
 
“Info Salons' corporate mission has always been about connecting event content with event communities globally,” commented Kelleway (pictured). “By integrating Presdo Match to our suite of registration applications, it allows us to provide a comprehensive, deeper profile of exactly ‘who’ is behind each of those touches.”
