IMEX NEWS – Suntec Singapore launched a new brand designed to give it an international service platform at IMEX in Frankfurt on Wednesday.

Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Service (Suntec International) is designed to expand the Suntec brand and its services beyond Singapore to the global market.

The new company is set up directly by Suntec owners ARA Group.

Pieter Idenburg, CEO of Suntec Singapore will also head the new entity.

Included among Suntec International’s portfolio of services is sales and marketing representation, venue management, and consultancy services with a key focus on highly customised solutions to clients. Idenburg says that there have been requests from many venues for Suntec to manage their centres and provide consultancy services.

"We are now ready to accomplish this through Suntec International," says Idenburg. "The new collaborative management model that has made Singapore one of the world's best will allow Suntec International to introduce  cutting edge technology solutions, including CRM and reservation systems, as well as yield management tools."
