Aventri launches Virtual Event Platform

Event management software (EMS) company Aventri has launched a new Virtual Event Platform.

The solution is fully integrated in the Aventri Event Management Solution, and allows event and marketing professionals to manage online, hybrid and in-person events on a single platform. The platform also offers engagement and monetisation features in addition to security software and real-time insights.

CEO at Aventri, Jim Sharpe, said: “We had a front-row seat to the pandemic as it unfolded in our market, and I’m proud of how the Aventri team pivoted to develop an online solution.

“Our solution is designed with ease of use-in-mind, as we’ve seen how enterprises struggle to launch their first virtual events. Our services team is working closely with clients to ensure they have the knowledge and tools to navigate this new world and become self-sufficient. Our goal is to educate the market and maximise success with online, and later hybrid, events.”

Shane Edmonds, CTO at Aventri, added: “We built this solution hand-in-hand with customers. Since our beta launch in June we’ve added powerful capabilities based on their feedback. In focus groups, surveys and one-on-one conversations, customers have said the most important thing is the ability to pivot from online to hybrid to in-person events. Aventri delivers this flexibility along with the option to support all event types, from complex agendas to small meetings and large plenary sessions.”

Aventri said a financial services firm reported that the number of registrants at its annual July meeting had doubled compared to the firm’s previous in-person conference. This year’s online event achieved an 80% registrant-to-attendee conversion rate. It also drew attendees from 76 countries, giving it a 20% gain in geographic reach.
