Colombia wins three-year deal to host FIEXPO Latin America

It has been announced at Vitrina Turística, an annual event organised by ANATO (the Colombian Association of Travel Agencies and Tourism Operators) that FIEXPO Latin America will be held in Colombia in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Deputy Minister of Tourism of Colombia, Juan Pablo Franky together with the Directors of FIEXPO Latin America, Arnaldo Nardone and Sergio Baritussio, announced that the premier tradeshow for the meetings market in Latin America and the Caribbean, will move to Cartagena de Indias in 2020, then Medellin in 2021 and to Bogota in 2022.

The authorities of FIEXPO, together with the ministerial authorities and those of ProColombia and the convention bureaus of the host cities, stressed the significance of the agreement for Colombia and for FIEXPO Latin America, as the country will be hosting the event for three years in a row.

FIEXPO Latin America also includes the Latin American Political Forum on Meetings Tourism, in addition to a broad range of training activities.

This year’s edition of FIEXPO Latin America will take place in Santiago de Chile, 10-12 June 2019.
