etc.venues, the UK-based conference, training and event venue specialists, has announced it is increasing the size of its 133 Houndsditch venue by 50%.
The venue, located in the City of London, is expanding its third-floor space to 1486 sqm. This will offer an additional seven rooms and will include a suite which can host 240 guests. The space will also feature new vapor graphic lighting features that aims to enhance its events.
The new space has extended the etc.venues’ property to a total of 4645 sqm. The new conference floor will open in April 2020.
Adam Simpson, director of marketing, etc.venues, said: “With over 75% of the new business switching to the venue from hotels, the demand for meeting space at etc.venues 133 Houndsditch exceeded our targets from the start, so it was inevitable that we would look to add to this venue.”
Nick Hoare, chief operation officer, etc.venues, added: “The expansion of 133 Houndsditch creates a much needed large scale event venue in the City of London.”
