Global event brand IBTM and specialist PR and communications agency davies tanner have launched a global survey on destination marketing as part of a new IT’S TIME campaign.
The Destination Marketing Post-Covid-19 Survey launched 17 November and has been created to assist destinations, and the business and travel sectors within those destinations, in planning recovery activity post the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sue O’Gorman, managing director at davies tanner, said that news of the vaccine had improved market sentiment and that destinations were now looking towards recovery.
“The results of this survey will analyse current sentiment, insights and resources which in turn will help shape future strategy within the travel and business events sectors on what is needed for a successful recovery,” O’Gorman noted.
The survey, now live, takes approximately three minutes to complete and is part of a wider global engagement campaign by davies tanner called IT’S TIME, which the agency says is designed to “provide further support, insights and resources to destinations and the wider business events sector as it begins its period of recovery”.

The survey will contribute to a wider market report, which will be published in January 2021, and be available as a free download. The findings from the report will also be presented as part of the IBTM Connect series on 20 January 2021.
