International Confex generates charitable impacts with B1G1 and Blue Hat

The speed networking session at International Confex generated a number of charitable impacts through a partnership with B1G1 and Bluehat Team Building.

B1G1 is an enterprise which connects businesses to charitable projects around the world. Bluehat Teambuilding provide teambuilding and development workshops.

Collectively, the speed networking session and Bluehat stand generated 10,350 days safe drinking water to a family in Cambodia, 198 days educating a child in need in India, and 860 days sponsoring an irrigation system for a village in Kenya.

Event Director Duncan Custerson commented: “Speed networking was a huge success at Confex 2020. We ran four sessions across the show and introduced over 40 venues and destinations (both UK and international) to senior event and exhibition organisers.

“Visitors were greeted by Bluehat Teambuilding in the dedicated speed networking zone and encouraged to think laterally about their network during the quick fire sessions. If they didn’t have a specific requirement, could they refer a colleague or friend that may have a need for that venue, hotel or location?

“Each of our visitors were incentivised with a stunning corporate hamper from KHYVA hampers worth over £125, but we are pleased to report that the real pull was the charitable impacts these sessions were generating.”
