Industry association Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) has announced that Tim Campbell will host the upcoming 2020 MEA Awards Night, 8 September, at the Sofitel Melbourne On Collins in Melbourne.
A star Down Under both on-screen and off, Campbell is best known for his leading role in Home and Away TV soap and as host of national prime time shows Celebrity Singing Bee, Wheel of Fortune and National Bingo Night.
Reflecting on an extraordinarily challenging year, this year’s Awards aim to recognise the innovation and exceptional work done by organisations and individuals within the Australian events sector throughout 2020.
Campbell will also join the line up of speakers and entertainers coming together for the industry show Evolve 2021, including the former head of innovation & creativity at Disney, Duncan Wardle, and Holly Ransom, founder and CEO of strategic advisory firm Emergent, who was announced as host of the conference earlier this month.
