Global destination advisor for real estate, tourism and economic development, Resonance Consultancy, has been engaged by The City of Los Angeles Department of Convention and Tourism Development to develop a long-term Tourism Master Plan.
Over the next 11 months, Resonance, which has offices in New York and Vancouver, will come up with a strategy and plan to help the city meet its goals for increased visitation.
“Resonance has a unique ability to help organisations like ours to look ahead by engaging meaningfully with stakeholders, producing insightful research, and then working with us to turn those ingredients into a strategic long-term vision,” says Doane Liu, Executive Director of the City’s Department of Convention and Tourism Development.
“L.A. is a fantastically dynamic and complex city,” says Richard Cutting-Miller, Executive VP of Resonance. “Between our interviews, workshops, surveys and competitive assessments, the City will have a clear picture of its strengths and weaknesses through the lens of the people who matter most: their residents and visitors.”
In the past five years, Resonance has produced tourism master plans, as well as destination development and branding strategies, for places as varied as Vancouver, B.C; Tulsa, Oklahoma; San Luis Obispo County, California; Cincinnati, Ohio; Bellevue Washington; and Snohomish County, Washington.
