LVCVA appoints Vanessa Claspill as chief sales officer

A new leader takes the helm. Vanessa Claspill joins LVCVA as Chief Sales Officer to drive growth for Las Vegas as a premier global destination. She brings strategic vision from her role as chief commercial officer at Crescent Hotels and Resorts. Her appointment comes as the industry continues to evolve.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) welcomes Vanessa Claspill as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to lead sales and drive continued growth for Las Vegas as a premier global destination.

“We’re delighted to welcome Vanessa to the LVCVA team,” said Steve Hill, CEO and president of the LVCVA. “Her strategic vision, energy, and deep understanding of our industry will be an incredible asset to Las Vegas and to our clients.”

“I’m honoured to join the LVCVA at such an exciting time for Las Vegas and the global meetings industry,” Vanessa said. “I’m keen to collaborate with our clients and industry partners to drive innovation, strengthen relationships, and continue to position Las Vegas as the premier destination for world-class events.”

As CSO, Vanessa will strengthen key partnerships and help grow meeting, convention, and trade show sales for the destination and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Vanessa joins the LVCVA from Crescent Hotels and Resorts, where she was the chief commercial officer directing the organisation’s Commercial Division, which included sales, marketing and digital, and revenue strategies. She was also recognised by Hotel Management Magazine as one of 2025’s Influential Women in Hospitality.
