Accor introduces ‘ALL Meet Well’ hygiene measures across 135 hotels

Global hotel and hospitality group Accor has announced that 135 hotels in its brand portfolio in Northern Europe have adopted its ‘ALL Meet Well’ commitment to safety and hygiene designed to keep meetings and events delegates safe and well.

ALL Meet Well includes a series of measures including: daily cleaning routines carried out during evenings and lunch breaks, including disinfecting light switches, door handles, chairs, tables, hangers and consoles; vacuum cleaners will be equipped with HEPA filters; and cleaning checklists will be provided to the event organisers prior to meetings taking place.

All meetings and events will be run in line with ALLSAFE, Accor’s global cleanliness and prevention programme.

To encourage businesses to reconnect and meet safely, Accor has also launched Reconnect, a package of incentives to enable and encourage meeting and event planners to restart live event programmes. Reconnect offers planners and agents added value for MICE bookings in hotels across the UKI and Benelux including:

  • Double ALL Meeting Planner Points
  • Flexible and transparent contracts with applicable Covid -19 clauses (UK hotels)
  • 1-in-10 free on day or residential delegate packages
  • Agents: commission paid on deposit at the time of payment
  • No cancellation fees for up to 50 delegates if the meeting is cancelled at least 14 days in advance

The terms are applicable to new meetings and events and Group bookings from 1 September 2020- 31 May 2021.

Dana Lewis, director of MICE & leisure, Accor, Northern Europe, said: “ALL Meet Well provides meeting and event planners with the flexibility and hygiene commitment they need to restart live meetings and events with confidence.”

Richard Short, health, safety and environment director, Accor Northern Europe, added: “Despite lockdown measures being progressively relaxed across the world, the health and safety of guests, delegates, meeting planners and staff remains the number one priority for us. Accor has successfully implemented extensive ALLSAFE protocols to safeguard the health and wellbeing of guests, and now we can extend these to live meetings and events. We want to ensure that when planners organise an event with Accor they feel completely comfortable and safe in the hotel of their choice.”

Accor’s 400+ strong UKI, Benelux and Nordics hotel portfolio includes 18 brands.
