Ashfield M&E and SPARK THINKING move back in with parents, citing growth

Ashfield Meetings & Events (part of UDG Healthcare plc) and sister brand SPARK THINKING have moved in with Ashfield division colleagues at Ashfield House in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, UK – the company’s registered trading address.

Ashfield Meetings & Events is a global healthcare event management business, and sister brand SPARK THINKING delivers events outside the healthcare industry.

Global MD Nicola Burns says business growth and team expansion are behind the move. “At Ashfield House, not only do we get a modern, beautifully-designed space more suitable for our creative agency culture, but it will also enable us to collaborate even more successfully with our wider Ashfield colleagues for the benefit of our clients.”

She told CMW the moves came about also because the agency had adapted its approach to more flexible/remote working, and as a result space had been created.

“Across our business in the UK and US, Ashfield has adopted a more flexible approach to remote working in order to remain competitive as an employer and enable us to attract the right talent regardless of location. This has enabled us to move Ashfield Meetings & Events into a larger space in Ashfield House to support the growth of the organisation, whilst also giving employees the opportunity to work remotely or from our different offices across the UK. Being based from one office also allows the Meetings & Events team to work in even closer collaboration with the wider Ashfield team,” Burns said.

In addition, the Ashfield Meetings & Events and SPARK THINKING teams based in Ivyland, Pennsylvania in the US, have also moved offices to join Ashfield colleagues in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, for similar reasons.

“This is an exciting time as more and more global clients are taking advantage of our full service capabilities, while also recognising the benefits we bring by being part of a wider division of healthcare support businesses,” Burns added.
