Belgium-based ASSOCIATIONWORLD announces the launch of the first edition of the Washington International Association Forum (WIAF), set to take place on 27-28 September 2022.
Gathering representatives of international and North American associations, non-profits, federations, societies and NGOs, WIAF aims at establishing a platform and knowledge sharing event for professional associations and non-profit organisations.
This announcement comes after ASSOCIATIONWORLD’s recent Brussels International Association Forum (BIAF) in March 2022 and prior to the second edition of the Geneva International Association Forum (GIAF) which takes place on 27-28 June.
Washington DC is an institutional, political and advocacy hub and a central location for international diplomacy, innovation and professional expertise. ASSOCIATIONWORLD hopes that the city’s ecosystem of public, private, non-profit, academic and political stakeholders provides an opportunity for fostering an impactful dialogue and expertise sharing.

The programme will aim to combine keynote speakers, a masterclass, peer-to-peer exchange and workshops, panel discussions related to the topic pillars of good governance, leadership, organisational culture, membership and communities, advocacy, campaigning, media, communications, marketing, event development, innovation, resource development.
