Global business travel and meetings specialist CWT has announced three leadership changes, effective April 1, 2023. Chief financial officer (CFO) Judy Hendrick will be retiring as of 1 July, 2023, at which point senior vice-president, corporate finance Jim Shepherd will become CWT’s executive vice-president (EVP) & CFO. Chief technology officer, John Pelant (pictured) has been named EVP, chief experience & technology officer, effective 1 April, 2023, with responsibility for a new function that combines Traveller Experience and Product & Technology. Derek Sharp, current EVP & chief traveller experience officer, will be leaving the company to pursue new career opportunities, as will Belinda Hindmarsh, EVP & chief growth officer, whereby her responsibilities will be integrated into other functions. “Business travel is rapidly changing, and we need to adapt our operations and business model to ensure we continue to win, retain and service clients successfully. These changes create a realigned executive leadership team structure that better supports our strategic priorities, and underscores CWT’s ability to develop outstanding talent with the right skills to transform our organisation,” commented Patrick Andersen, president & CEO of CWT.
