Travel management platform CWT has announced its expanded integration with Concur Travel, an expense, invoice, and travel management solution company. The integration involves a phased roll-out through to the end of the year. Following the launch, CWT clients using Concur Travel will be able to have all hotel content from RoomIt. CWT says clients will be able to access savings as well as additional reporting capabilities. The initiative aims to deliver better rate descriptions across web and mobile, so travellers can view the source of the rate and loyalty eligibility. Virtual payment is also available for all types of rates, meaning travellers do not have to use their personal or corporate credit card. Chief Commercial Officer and President of RoomIt by CWT, Patrick Andersen, said: “We are proud to be a part of the first travel management platform to have this innovative connection in place with SAP Concur solutions.” Max Miller, Vice-President of TMC Business Development at SAP Concur, said: “We have remained true to our focus on offering personalised choice for our customers. CWT has embraced the SAP Concur ecosystem, extending the power of Concur Travel by providing an even more personalised customer experience for hotel bookings with RoomIt by CWT. This exemplifies the kind of ecosystem collaboration intended to keep the customer at the centre of our partnerships.”
