Daniela Corti Events, under the patronage of Enit, the Italian national tourism board, held its fourth educational tour for media representatives under the Undiscovered Italy Tours format on 19-22 July in Catanzaro. The Chamber of Commerce of Catanzaro (in Calabria) partnered on the event which was also supported by the Municipality and Proloco of Tiriolo.
Fifteen participants visited places and venues suitable for either weddings or national and international events, personally meeting commercial actors within the local industry.
The tour visited venues including the Borgo del Convento, a 15th century monastery in front of the Ionian seas and the Lento wine cellars, home of the Lento family’s Lamezia Doc wine.
Daniela Corti said: “The territory of Catanzaro can rightly be defined as one of the richest in the world in terms of opportunities for tourism and cultural heritage. It offers a number of excellent venues for any type of event, and I am really pleased to have shown a summary of them to such qualified professionals.”
