Great Hotels of the World, the international hotel representation group, announced six new member hotels in Poland in July. Its most recent addition to the collection, PURO Warsaw, has been a member since 2019. Now the remaining six properties that make up the design-led PURO group join the collection of independent hotels. PURO Wroclaw Located just outside the Old Town in Poland’s fourth largest city, PURO Wroclaw has an outdoor terrace and garden that is connected to a riverside promenade. Its modern-day bistro offers street-food inspired meals and each of the 102 guest rooms have been recently refurbished by Blacksheep, a British Design Studio. PURO Krakow Kazimierz Located in Krakow’s art district, the architecture of the local neighbourhood is a key theme of PURO Krakow Kazimierz, which has 228 guest rooms, four meeting rooms and spacious outdoor terraces. PURO Krakow Stare Miasto PURO Krakow Stare Miasto is located a short distance from the city’s popular Market Square and positioned opposite the Main Station. The hotel’s common areas include a lobby displaying artworks created specifically for the hotel. Like its sister hotels, the 138 guest rooms are modern and feature an in-room iPad. PURO Gdansk Featuring interior designs commissioned by London-based studio DeSallesFlint, this eight-story hotel is located in the heart of the old town on Granary Island. A rooftop bar and terrace offers views of the medieval old town and rebuilt marina. There are 211 guest rooms, a PRISMA Spa and six conference rooms for up to 140 attendees. PURO Poznan Set in Poland’s oldest city, the four-story hotel features the Nifty No.50 restaurant, bar and café and an outdoor garden offering a place to enjoy cocktails. PURO Lodz Centrum PURO Lodz Centrum is found just off of the city’s main street and neighbours hip eateries, stylish shops and thriving nightlife. Paying homage to Poland’s first cinema which opened in Lodz, the hotel has its very own Cinema Paradiso, exclusively available to guests. The 136 rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the neo-baroque palace. There are three flexible meeting spaces and a PRISMA Spa. PURO Warszawa Centrum PURO Warszawa Centrum offers 148 rooms with a Scandinavian look and feel.
