IMEX America 2025 closed on 9 October in Las Vegas with record attendance and new long-term contracts securing the show’s future at Mandalay Bay through to 2030.

The three-day event drew more than 17,000 participants and hosted its largest exhibition floor to date. Over 6,000 global buyers attended, including 4,700 hosted buyers.

Organisers reported more than 90,000 meetings across the show, including 77,000 pre-scheduled one-to-one appointments.

“This is where business gets done,” said Charlene Lopez of Discover Atlanta. “People come ready to talk details, explore fit and close deals. That’s why we doubled our presence this year.”

Virgin Voyages’ Juan Camacho added: “Our biggest client – worth over $3m – came directly from IMEX America. Every year we see real ROI and repeat business.”

IMEX CEO Carina Bauer said: “This has been a record-breaking week. The strength in numbers shows an industry that’s purposeful and powerful right now.”

Bauer confirmed new contracts with MGM to keep the show at Mandalay Bay and with service provider GES through 2030. IMEX also renewed its strategic partnership with MPI for five more years.

The next IMEX Talking Point for 2026/27 will be Design Matters, focusing on design as a driver of business success. The theme also recognises Frankfurt’s status as World Design Capital 2026.

Bauer was joined at the closing press conference by IMEX chairman Ray Bloom; Steve Hill, CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority; Stephanie Glanzer, chief sales officer and senior vice-president at MGM Resorts International; and Rachel Benedick, chief revenue officer at MPI.

IMEX America 2026 will take place from 13-15 October at Mandalay Bay.
