Federcongressi&eventi, the Italian conference and events industry association, has confirmed Gabriella Gentile (pictured) as president. She was elected during the association’s 15th National Convention, held 23-24 February in Rome and attended by over 300 conference tourism professionals. Gabriella Gentile is a founding partner of Meeting Consultants, a consultancy specialising in the MICE business. Since 2006, she has been an adjunct professor on the Language, Society and Communication degree course at the University of Bologna, teaching Management of Cultural Events. “I would like to thank all members for the trust they have placed in me. The two years of my first mandate have seen the association support the post-Covid recovery of the national meetings industry and consolidate its role as a key partner with institutions and stakeholders in identifying strategies to support conference tourism. I am sure that, with the continued proactive support of its members and Executive Board, Federcongressi&eventi will be able to continue to grow and support companies in facing and overcoming new challenges,” Gentile said.
