AMERICAS – Las Vegas has a new free-standing meetings and events facility near McCarran International Airport with on-site accommodation for 200. Most likely suitable for training events and corporate retreats, the IPEC venue offers 1,858sqm of flexible meeting space suitable for groups of 50 to 720 attendees. IPEC has six conference rooms for between 22 and 61 people with lecture-style seating, and between 28 and 79 people for theatre-style seating. Owners Bermuda Road Properties have set a grand opening is set for 10 August and official public bookings will be taken from September. The venue boasts a large foyer and high ceilings and asset manager Michael Fiorentino said: “In developing IPEC, we envisioned a venue geared especially for education and training, meetings and special-occasion events”. “Las Vegas is the meetings capital of the world, and IPEC allows planners and attendees the best of all worlds — a self-contained, tranquil atmosphere free of distractions and conducive to the greatest productivity, yet close enough to the Strip and all it has to offer for off-site excursions,” Fiorentino added. “Plus, there’s no other freestanding events venue in Las Vegas, or anywhere else, that offers onsite guestrooms exclusively to meetings attendees.” IPEC is operating partnership agreements with AWG Destination Management Services, Metropolitan Exhibition Services, Inc., and Hospitality Performance Network (HPN).
