CINP2025, which will be held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Asian College of Neuropsychopharmacology, is expected to draw over 1,000 of the world’s leading experts to Melbourne. The bid, spearheaded by Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) with support from the Victorian Government and Tourism Australia’s Business Events Bid Fund Programme, will contribute an estimated A$5.9m (US$3.78m) to the local economy. Neurosciences, including mental health, is one of the pillars of research excellence in the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, with strengths across all facets of the drug development and commercialisation pipeline to become one of the world’s top drug discovery centres.
