Québec City Convention Centre has appointed Marion Méquignon (pictured) as Concierge. She holds a degree in tourism from Cégep Limoilou/Champlain St Lawrence and brings with her a wealth of hospitality and travel agency experience.
A novel concept for a convention centre, concierge services are designed as a one-stop solution to make event organisation easier before, during, and after the big day.
The concierge desk is essentially a business centre, tourist office, and boutique all rolled into one. As Concierge,Méquignon will offer personalised business services from traditional document printing to organising guided tours and purchasing gifts that are unique to your business.
November 2016 is also turning out to be a busy month for the Québec City Convention Centre. UNESCO’s Internet and the radicalization of youth: Preventing, Acting and Living together and JCI World Congress 2016 are bringing to the city over 3,000 delegates in a five-day period.
The Convention Centre will welcome 16 conventions, tradeshows and meetings, in all, during the month, events that are expected to generate CAN$15m in economic impact for Québec City businesses.
