VisitScotland Business Events, as part of its Scotland on Tour initiative, took eight of its venue partners to the Midlands, UK from 12-13 June. The group visited 42 agents from seven MICE agencies in Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham, including arrangeMY, Finest Meetings, Conference Care, Bright Sky Events, Absolute Corporate Events, BCD Meetings & Events Zibrant and Choice Locations. The tour took Scottish partners on a coach tour to a part of the UK to meet business event agencies – each partner had their own table, and one hour of meeting time at each stop. Ahead of the tour, Catriona Anderson of Meetings Perthshire said: “Scotland on Tour is a great event which gives venues the opportunity to meet with so many agents over the space of two days. It is fantastic to share the experience alongside some other Scottish venues.”
