Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) announced a new business events campaign at IMEX Frankfurt. Titled “Meet in Thailand: Your Success, Your Moment”, the campaign aims to promote new developments in Thailand’s ecosystem, and to promote the new direction TCEB is taking.
Led by TCEB senior vice-president Mr. Puripan Bunnag, the campaign introduces the “3M” strategy: MaxiMICE, Meaningful and Memorable. Each element aims to deliver higher event value, better ROI and more impactful experiences.
MaxiMICE highlights new developments in Thailand’s MICE ecosystem. These include improved flight connectivity, upgraded venues, a growing MICE workforce, a batch of certified suppliers and broader local experiences that are supported by government investment.
Meaningful reflects TCEB’s ESG-aligned focus. Thailand now offers low-carbon MICE suppliers and community-engaging activities. The goal is to enable events with measurable social and environmental impact.
Memorable showcases Thailand’s hospitality and cultural richness. With creative partners, local hosts and even tech startups, the country offers immersive events that blend business with local connection.
TCEB also announced some key updates: 15 European and UK events are confirmed for Thailand. All 8 major venues in Bangkok will be connected to public transit by July 2025. Air France will launch direct Paris–Phuket flights in November 2025. TCEB will support schemes for business events and festivals remain active.
Next year will be Thailand’s MICE Celebration Year. Confirmed events include the Udon Thani Expo, World Congress on Pain, World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings, the Global Sustainable Tourism Conference and the UFI Asia Pacific Congress.
TCEB is exhibiting with 26 partners at Thailand Pavilion Stand A180. Pattaya Pavilion, with 4 exhibitors, is at Stand A190.
Daily performances at the Thailand Pavilion feature Isan cultural showcases, ahead of the 2026 International Horticultural Expo in Udon Thani. A networking reception hosted by Isan region leaders took place on 21 May.
