VIECON, the Vienna Congress & Convention Center, has selected Concept Solutions and STEINERLIVE as preferred partners for audiovisual services, following a public selection process.

The move expands the venue’s existing partner model, with STEINERLIVE, a partner of the venue since its opening in 2004, specialising in conference production and streaming, and Concept Solutions bringing experience in corporate events and brand presentations. Selection criteria included technical expertise, event safety, and sustainability measures such as environmental certifications and resource-efficient logistics.

Katharina Weishaupt, managing director of VIECON, said: “We want to always offer our clients the best possible technical support for their events. With Concept Solutions and STEINERLIVE, we have two companies on board that stand for quality, reliability, and innovation and that will help us meet our high standards for service and customer experience in the long term.”

Two areas of specialism, one shared client base

Thomas Wasshuber, managing director of STEINERLIVE, said: “Today, conferences are much more than traditional in-person events. They combine face-to-face interactions with content production, international networking, and digital services. Our goal is to provide organizers with the best possible support through well-thought-out technical solutions and to deliver a ‘Smart Congress’.”

Florian Weber, managing director of Concept Solutions, added: “Corporate events create space for connections, brand messages, and experiences. We look forward to contributing our experience and creativity even more at the VIECON location in the future and working together to develop tailored solutions for event organisers.”

Under the new structure, clients will be able to draw on both companies’ expertise across all event formats, rather than being limited to one partner’s specialism. Martina Candillo, managing director of VIECON, said: “The market is evolving rapidly, and event formats are becoming more diverse and customised. With this new partnership structure, we’re creating additional flexibility and can meet our clients’ varying needs even more effectively.”
