Edinburgh-based event production agency 20/20 Productions has been appointed to stage and produce the St Andrews Ball on 17 November in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With offices also in Dubai and San Francisco, 20/20 Productions is producing the high calibre event following a series of outstanding work on high profile international events including the Gulf’s GPCA Annual Forum. This popular Scottish Association event, compered by well-known industry figure and GlobalScot John Deykin, will host over 500 guests including the consulate-general from the British Embassy along with heads of the Irish Society, Welsh Social Club and St Georges Society. The Scottish Association’s event coordinator, Sharon Milne Castell, said: “We’re delighted to have the very talented 20/20 Productions team supporting us this year. Hugely experienced, they are adding substantial production value by using the latest digital audio visual equipment and stage setting, whilst ensuring the traditional and more formal elements of this historical event are maintained.” Craig Munro, senior producer at 20/20 Productions explains: “As we firmly plant our feet in the Gulf region, since opening a Dubai office last year, this has offered a great opportunity for the team to work with a long-established Society which has such a far-reaching cross-cultural ethos and spirit. We have a real affinity with this unique event and are excited to give it the 20/20 Productions treatment. “Using our expertise and high-end equipment, the stage set has been specially designed and branded and the whole event will be a very different visual experience for guests from previous years.”
