The 2024 Incentive Travel Index reports overall growth in incentive travel up to 2026. Undertaken by the Incentive Research Foundation and Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) in partnership with Oxford Economics, the study reports on destination preferences, programme inclusions, budgeting and perceptions surrounding incentive travel. More than 2,800 incentive travel professionals participated.
The key findings are: Spending to increase: incentive travel buyers expect activity and per person spending to increase above 2024 levels over the next two years Wanderlust: over 70% are seeking destinations they haven’t used before Resorts en vogue: resorts have increased in popularity (both all-inclusive and not) Challenges: however, respondents also report concerns around rising costs, attracting talent to the industry and safety considerations
