Dubai is set to host the 7th Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) Municipalities and Smart Cities Conference, 27-28 September, 2017. According to the event organiser Datamix, the conference will cover all aspects of smart city development, including fire prevention, public safety, and the changing role of municipalities. The organiser says that the event will provide “a premier platform for knowledge exchange and peer-to-peer engagement… in the context of smart cities development to co-create innovative and integrated urban solutions for a more liveable and sustainable future.”
