Event organiser Reed Exhibitions has announced a new contract with Visit and Poken by GES for its Airport Show portfolio of events in Dubai. Airport Show is the latest of a series of technology-enabled events already delivered by Visit and Poken across leading organisers in EMEA. The GES technology package, which combines SaaS registration software, NFC-enabled smart badges, NFC touchpoints, and Visit Connect lead capture app and intelligence dashboards, is designed to drive digital engagement on the show floor. Chris Lloyd, general manager Dubai, Visit and Poken by GES, says: “Reed Exhibitions recognises the value in driving visitor interaction. We’re excited to offer exhibitors’ packages to capture every interaction on their booth while enabling visitors to take more control of the content they capture, which combined, provides even greater behavioural insight for the Airport Show team.” Daniyal Qureshi, group exhibition director, RX Middle East adds: “We are always eager to explore the latest innovations that enter the events industry to ultimately increase the vibrancy of our visitors’ experience… We feel the smart technology will not only enhance the visitor experience, but also help exhibitors increase their return on investment and give a variety of benefits to us as organisers.”
