A new agency, Future Live Today, has launched from the creators of agency Wonder. Ben Turner, MD/founder and Neil Mortimer, digital innovation director, are behind the launch of the digital intelligence agency for events. Future Live Today aims to build a digital infrastructure which will provide a data channel that enables clients, organisers, partners and attendees to achieve their event objectives. Additionally, it will provide the framework to analyse, track and measure the results. Measuring the return of investment will allow results from events to be measured against other marketing channels. The API cloud will connect technology and data points. This will ensure marketers have a single point of reference containing all recorded metrics, which can assist audience engagement. Turner has worked closely with Mortimer in creating the vision for Future Live Today. At Wonder, Turner has built a client list that includes Google, BT, Santander, Visa, Deliveroo and Nike. Mortimer (pictured), said: “I am so excited at the launch of Future Live Today. There is a drastic need to evolve the event industry into the digital age. Events need to modernise their format to address that customer experience is evolving in every other channel. “CMO’s of major organisations, who spend an increasingly large percentage of their marketing budget on events, must have the ability to measure their successes in the same way that they measure the rest of their marketing spend.” Turner (pictured), said: “I am delighted to announce the launch of Future Live Today. Having worked together for over a year to set up the business, it is great that Neil will lead this forward. His vision and insight has been central to this launch and we are incredibly confident that Future Live Today will be a game-changer in our industry. “The requirement for events to integrate better into the wider data-driven marketing strategy is absolutely evident. In fact, the potential impact of technology on the entire vertical is massive. Future Live Today will very much position us at the forefront of this conversation and will see us driving the changes that are so desperately needed to make events even more powerful and relevant in today’s business environment.”
