Italian organiser Terra Events has released a new social media campaign designed to combat misinformation around the Covid-19 coronavirus. #TRUSTITALY is attempting to dispel rumours and calm anxieties around the disease, which has affected Italy more than any other European country. In the video, Lorenzo Pignatti, DMCP, terra Events, says: “We have the best hospitals, scientists and physicians to combat this virus, but we are powerless and unprepared against media spamming and harmful fake news.” You can watch the video at this link.
