A new strategic partnership between the Zurich Convention Bureau and PCO Kuoni Tumlare Congress, is set to deliver comprehensive hotel group booking services. The partnership is designed to combine the expertise of both companies: The Zurich Convention Bureau provides professional advice on the planning and implementation of business events and contacts with local partner companies, while Kuoni Tumlare Congress brings experience as a PCO, as well as travel and hotel management. The Zurich Convention Bureau will recommend suitable hotels and organisers can then reserve rooms using the booking tool from Kuoni Tumlare Congress. The co-operation, the sides say, should ease challenges when trying to secure room availability in high season, for example. “Smooth participant management processes are the key to successful congresses. With Kuoni Tumlare Congress at our side, we can offer organisers real added value,” says Vanessa Reis, head of the Zurich Convention Bureau. Hana Peregrinova, head of Congress at Kuoni Tumlare, adds: “We are committed to supporting the Zurich Convention Bureau in attracting and retaining customers and further increasing the attractiveness of this beautiful and dynamic city.” The co-operation combines Swiss tradition and global experience: Kuoni Tumlare has its roots in Switzerland and the ambition of connecting people and cultures – which is ideal for international congresses.
