Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has appointed YB V. Sivakumar as its new chairman. Sivakumar is a Malaysian politician and MP who served as Minister of Human Resources in 2023.
Now, he takes on the role of strengthening Malaysia’s position as a premier destination for international business events. As chairman, Sivakumar will prioritise innovation, sustainability and talent development.
A primary goal is to promote Malaysia as an eco-friendly business events hub. He will lead MyCEB’s board discussions, ensuring solid governance practices and seeking increased collaboration between the board and management.
