International events and live marketing agency, VOK DAMS recently created the opening celebration of the new production site, the Gigahub of Quest One. The event, with 880 guests in attendance, focused on Quest One’s mission: to avoid one percent of global greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. This, they intend to achieve through the use of its electrolyzers.
VOK DAMS was responsible for the concept and execution of the opening celebration in Hamburg at the Gigahub, 30 September, with a focus on tailored, more sustainable solutions aligned with Quest One’s vision and products. Previously known as H-TEC SYSTEMS, the company also introduced its new corporate design and company name with the inauguration of the modern production site.
VOK DAMS designed the event to showcase the innovative strength and sustainability vision of Quest One. With the opening of the Gigahub, Quest One embarks on the industrial series production of electrolyzer stacks, which are the technological core of electrolyzers. Electrolyzers are used for the production of green hydrogen.
The inauguration of the modern production site solidifies Quest One’s position as a pioneer in the hydrogen economy. The opening celebration attracted employees and prominent figures from politics and business, including Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Hamburg’s First Mayor Dr Peter Tschentscher, along with other high-profile speakers such as Robin von Plettenberg (CEO of Quest One), Dr Uwe Lauber (CEO of MAN Energy Solutions), and Gunnar Kilian (chairman of the Supervisory Board of MAN Energy Solutions and Volkswagen Group Executive Board member for Personnel and Truck & Bus).
An intergenerational ‘Push the Button’ moment on stage marked a powerful symbol for the beginning of Quest One’s sustainable future mission. Through a visual Vision Walk in the Gigahub, which symbolically led to the ‘1% goal’, guests were able to experience the company’s vision up close.
The aim of the Vision Walk was to raise awareness of the urgency of current climate challenges while highlighting Quest One’s goal. Employees were able to express their personal commitment to the company’s goals by leaving their signatures on the installation.
