Visit Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Sports Commission in New Jersey, USA, is preparing for a packed Q1 conventions and trade shows, building on the 200 events and conventions that were successfully hosted in the city throughout 2024. Popular events returning in Q1 include The Pool & Spa Show, Tri-State CAMP Conference 2025, and The Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival.

“This is such an exciting time to be a part of Visit Atlantic City, and we expect 2025 to be a year filled with successful events and conventions,” said Gary Musich, president and CEO of Visit Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Sports Commission. “The Orange Loop is one area in particular that we’re expecting to see major reinvestment, including a new boutique hotel breaking ground and updates to the many restaurants in the district. Winter is a great time to visit our seaside destination, and we hope that visitors will explore this hidden-gem of Atlantic City while they’re visiting for the many events and activities happening this quarter.”

The Pool & Spa Show which runs 28-30 January at the Atlantic City Convention Center, organisers say, will bring in over 11,260 attendees, filling 7,885 room nights and making an $11.1 economic impact. This year’s New Jersey Music Educators Association State Conference will take place at the same venue 20-21 February, it is an event expected to draw 2,000 attendees, 988 room nights and create $1.2m in economic impact. And the end of February will see 400 law students use the Center to sit their New Jersey Bar Exams.

The one-stop shop for boating accessories and on-the-water adventures, the Discover Boating Atlantic City Boat Show will start to float 40,000 visitors’ boats for five days starting 26 February, again at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The 2025 Impressions Expo then moves into the Center, 29-22 March with top exhibitors ranging from apparel screen printing equipment, multi-head embroidery machines, direct-to-garment (DTG) printing options and neon inks. Organisers expect 4,900 attendees.

From 17-19 January, the 28th Annual Starstruck Invitational will be returning to the Atlantic City Convention Center for a weekend filled with outstanding gymnastic competitions. The event expects 4,000 attendees, 1,080 room nights and $1.4m in economic impact.

Atlantic City is also undergoing a significant beach replenishment project led by the US Army Corps of Engineers. This initiative will add 120,000 dump truck loads of sand to the shoreline, addressing erosion caused by natural tides and recent storms. The $38.2m project, which began in late November 2024, is expected to be completed within four months, ensuring wider beaches for the upcoming summer season.

Numerous sporting events and festivals are also booked in for the Q1 period in Atlantic City. For complete Atlantic City tourism and convention information, visit www.visitatlanticcity.com.
