Thimon de Jong, Dutch futurist and expert on future human behaviour, will headline Convening EMEA 2025 in Rotterdam on 15-17 October. The event is organised by PCMA, and will be held at Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre WTC.

Thimon advises Microsoft, L’Oréal and the European Central Bank on how shifting social norms shape strategy. In Rotterdam he will show how empathy, trust and cultural intelligence are actual drivers performance in hybrid workplaces, and why intentional connection is now a core business metric.

De Jong will also examine the impact of AI-mediated communication on multigenerational teams and outline practical steps leaders can take to design meetings that build real community. His session anchors a programme focused on “bridging generations, cultures and screens.”
