P&J Live, an indoor arena in Aberdeen, Scotland,  will host a series of major conferences and congresses between September and November 2025.

According to the organisers, the conferences highlights its commitment to showcasing the city’s growing role in sectors beyond energy with academic and clinical conferences the primary topics of the new event series.

The programme includes the UK Congress on Obesity from 10–11 September; the Association of Anaesthetists Annual Congress from 17–19 September; and the European Society of Breast Imaging Annual Scientific Meeting from 25–27 September.

The Scottish National Party’s annual conference will take place from 11–13 October, followed by the Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust Annual Conference on 19–20 November with The UK Stroke Forum’s 20th anniversary conference will close the season from 25–27 November.

Earlier this year the venue also hosted the International Family Therapy Association Congress and PCST 2025 – Public Communication of Science and Technology. Organisers say the events contribute to the region’s economic strategy by linking health and life sciences, agrifood and public policy with the city’s universities and hospitals.

Steve Daun, head of sales – associations at Legends Global, said: “Aberdeen’s long term future lies in diversification, both within the energy sector and the other key sectors identified in the Regional Economic Strategy that offer high value economic activity. This autumn’s calendar…shows the depth of our regional strengths and the versatility of our venue and city.”

Laura Wilson, head of convention bureau at Aberdeen Convention Bureau, said: “Together with P&J Live and our academic and clinical partners, we’re showcasing the breadth of Aberdeen’s strengths beyond energy. From our universities and NHS partners to a thriving community and vibrant cultural scene, Aberdeen makes it easy for people and ideas to come together.”
