The Opus Group, a network of experience agencies, including Opus Agency, MAS, and Verve, has appointed Michael Coppock as chief operating officer. He will oversee the company’s global shared services and operational infrastructure, working closely with leadership teams across the agency network.
“Michael joins us at a pivotal moment in our growth,” said Kim Kopetz, president and CEO of The Opus Group. “As we scale globally, building the operational backbone to support our teams and our clients has become mission-critical. His combination of breadth and depth makes him exactly the leader we need to evolve our infrastructure for the next phase of this journey.”
Coppock brings over a decade of experience establishing and scaling operations for high-growth global platforms. Most recently, he spent over eight years at Airbnb, culminating as director of strategy and global operations and chief of staff to the Global Operations team.
His background has also included driving corporate strategy change initiatives at Charles Schwab, managing product strategy for Wells Fargo Wallet, among other roles.
“The Opus Group and its agency network have built incredible momentum by putting extraordinary live brand experiences at the centre of client success,” said Coppock. “I am thrilled to join Kim and the entire leadership team to build the connectivity, systems, and operational excellence that will empower our talented global teams to innovate and deliver value at scale.”
The Opus Group is a portfolio company of investment funds managed by EagleTree Capital, a New York City-based private equity firm.
