AccorHotels, the international group offering 4,300 hotels, resorts and residences worldwide, has launched a new Meetings at Novotel concept. It will be introduced at Novotel London City South later this year before expansion across the Novotel network. The concept includes a range of spaces designed to accommodate a variety of requirements. Meet is the name given to a new type of space featuring the use of natural wood and steel designed to create a light and authentic feel, ergonomic furniture and the latest digital technology. The use of a digital room for e-conferencing is also set to be developed. Break is a collection of alternative spaces designed to excite and invigorate for group work, complete with games tables and soft breakout areas for brainstorming sessions. Recharge will provide meeting spaces with a focal point for wellness and nutrition and offer the opportunity for delegates to recharge in the meeting space.
And Service from the heart is a campaign rolled out across 80% of the AccorHotels brands and another integral part of the new Meetings at Novotel offer. It aims to provide a tailored, personalised and flexible approach to meetings. While Book will provide live meeting space availability through AccorHotels Meeting Planner. Commenting on the launch, Dana Lewis, director of sales M&E & Leisure, AccorHotels says: “The launch of the new Meetings at Novotel concept is an exciting development.” Lewis added: “The space has been designed with flexibility and guests’ wellbeing in mind to ensure we not only meet modern meeting expectations but also create a positive and inspirational working environment… We look forward to rolling out the concept across the Novotel network in the months ahead.” Novotel has 490 hotels and resorts in 58 countries.
