The communications arm of the international conference and events specialists AIM Group is set to grow through merger by incorporation with a PR agency specialising in the healthcare sector. AIM Communication has announced it has acquired the remaining 49% shareholding in GAS Communication & Partners, having previously held a 51% stake in the company since 2020. The PR agency which specialises in healthcare, pharma and social communications, will be fully integrated into AIM Communication, forming a single entity from a corporate and tax perspective from January 2024. Gianluca Scavo, CEO of AIM Communication, comments: “GAS Communication & Partners’ integrates seamlessly with the services offered by AIM Communication, creating a more robust, comprehensive, and highly specialised communication hub in the sphere of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and digital communication.” The team of professionals with two decades of experience in the healthcare sector from GAS Communication & Partners, who were already working in an integrated and complementary way with the staff of AIM Communication, will now form a single, expanded entity with over 40 people in the Milan and Rome offices. The integrated team brings together complementary expertise in the fields of art and creativity, press office, strategy and new business, digital and social media, as well as administration. “GAS Communication & Partners’ client portfolio, which includes a significant number of scientific societies, patient associations, and pharmaceutical companies, as well as ongoing and completed communication projects, aligns perfectly with AIM Communication’s business. It offers important opportunities for further growth, which will enable us to implement our growth strategy even more decisively,” adds Patrizia Semprebene Buongiorno, president of AIM Communication.
