AIPC to take 2023 Annual Congress to Luxembourg

AIPC, the Global Association of Convention Centres, is to take its Annual Congress to Luxembourg in 2023, 16-19 July. The conference will take place in the European Convention Center Luxembourg (ECCL), home to the European Council meetings.

The Convention Park Luxembourg is surrounded by 785 hotel rooms within walking distance and numerous restaurants and the conference centre is able to host physical, hybrid, and 100% virtual events.

“We were very impressed by the design of the venue and the innovative approach the ECCL applies when mapping requirements and service offer, by creating a true partnership with AIPC and by involving all local stakeholders,” said Sven Bossu, president of AIPC. “I am sure attending the 2023 Annual Conference at the ECCL will be a unique experience, combining a high-quality programme with an equally high-quality setting.”

‘‘It is a great opportunity for us to gather in our unique convention centre our peers, showing our possibilities and know how. Take a seat, live the experience of European Ministers, enjoy our services, taste our gastronomy, discover our Grand Duchy… and go home with memories to share; We look forward to welcoming you in 2023 ,” said Patrick Hoffnung, ECCL CEO.

Founded in 1958, AIPC is a global network of 190 leading centres in 61 countries with the active involvement of more than 900 management-level professionals.

This year’s AIPC Congress, under the theme of ‘Elevation’ is composed of two conferences: a fully digital one, on Friday 9 July and Monday 12 July, followed by a two-day on-site conference in Swiss Tech Convention Center in Lausanne, 13-14 July.
