AirPlus International, which specialises in integrated payment and management information systems, has launched a new service to assist event management companies with the payment of their suppliers.
The new AirPlus Events Solution involves single-use virtual card numbers to make upfront payments for events and meetings. All costs are charged back to one centrally billed lodge account, and all data related to meetings and events spend is captured on asingle invoice.
The solution means event management companies can avoid paying upfront costs for their clients meetings and events, and instead AirPlus International covers the costs for them.
Using the solution will also improve event management companies’ cash flow, mean they will benefit from a single invoice for all their suppliers, make it easy to reconcile, track and control costs and provide management information to their clients.
AirPlus UK’s MD, Yael Klein (pictured), says: “We understand the meetings and events arena is evolving and the market is asking us for solutions. We have proactively responded with a unique solution specifically designed for the events space, which will really helpevent management companies focus on what their good at, creating brilliant events.”
